There is a beauty to running in the middle of a Minnesota snowstorm. The crunch of the snow underfoot and the absolute silence of the predawn day is something everyone should experience. Running by itself requires an incredible amount of motivation, but add in subzero temperatures and wind chills that can freeze flesh and the amount of motivation required go up as the temp goes down.
I have assembled a few pages of tips the tips and tricks that help to make winter running a manageable task. These tips range from how to dress for the run to how to be seen. All of these tips have been tested by yours truly in past winters. I have suffered the frostbite so you don’t have to.
